What do you work with and for how long?
I’m an accountant, I’ve been working in the accounting field for almost 15 years… It sounds kind of boring, but some people find it sexy.
Akane, how would you define yourself?
I am a very calm, cheerful person, with few friends, kind of lazy, affectionate and romantic.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Practicing shibari even when alone, listening to music, F1 (can you say that here!?), watching Netflix, reading novels and meeting friends; but that last one has time that I don’t do. Besides, I’m quite a homebody, even in non-pandemic times.
When and why did you decide to start working on your sensual side?
In 2016 when I started practicing shibari, I liked the result so much that I decided to create an Instagram to post these photos and in most of them I was only wearing lingerie.
Do you consider yourself an exhibitionist?
Yes, a lot. LOL
Have you ever suffered any prejudice for this?
Not until now.
Do you think there is still a lot of prejudice against women who do sensual shoots?
Yes, there is both prejudice and demand for this type of content in equal proportions… It is a great paradox.
What was the place where you most enjoyed photographing?
A few years ago I took some photos at Palácio Quintandinha in Petrópolis, the halls are beautiful.
Do you have any professional dreams?
Yes, within my area I want to reach the position of Controller.
Who are your inspirations and references?
I worked with excellent professionals and some of them made an impression on me for their stories of achievements and great technical knowledge. These are the people who inspire me and I take them as a reference, I mean both in the financial area and in my work as a sensual model.
Do you have a fetish you can tell us about?
I have several haha. On my instagram I usually post a lot about fetishes, especially shibari, and I’m also a BDSM practitioner.
How is your relationship with your fans/followers?
Very calmly, I talk to some when they catch my attention in some way, whether asking an interesting question or a fun DM message.
What kind of messages do you receive most in your inbox?
I tend to get a lot of compliments, which is great because that way I know they like my content and it’s good for the ego.
Is there anything you’ve always wanted to say but never had the chance?
I always say what needs to be said. Not everything we think needs to be externalized.
What kind of music do you like to listen to?
Pop is what I listen to the most, but I also listen to a lot of national and international rock, sometimes pagode and funk, also like a good carioca.
What song can’t be missing from Akane’s fuck playlist?
Songs by The Weeknd and I love Secret by Maroon 5.
Indicate a movie and/or a series that you love.
As an assumed romantic I love the movie A Place Called Nothing Hill, but for more fun times, Rick and Morty.
Which book marked Akane the most?
Every book I read is marked in some way, but I can quote: The Chronicles of Narnia, but only when I read it the second time because I read it with a view of Christianity. The Diary of Anne Frank for being a classic referring to the Second World War; and Madame Bovary for its importance to romantic literature.
Did you like the result of the photos for the Blog? Did you feel good?
I loved the result, I thought the test was just right for me, super cute. I felt really good even for already posing for Doce almost 2 years ago.
Did you know Testosterone how?
Through sensual photography, one thing leads to another hahaha
Is there a blog post that marked you?
It’s not to make sardines, but I loved Doce’s blog about “the influence of sensual photography on a woman’s life – sensuality” for the message that I think is super important that sensuality is not about bodies, but about attitude.
What do you like most about the blog?
It may be cliché, but I love seeing sexy essays.
Akane, are you single?
No, I have a boyfriend who is also my Top (BDSM).
What’s the secret to conquering you?
Be smart, love animals, have empathy, faith (whatever it is), self-love, good sense of humor and eventually kill cockroaches lol
What qualities do you most admire in people?
Courageous, ambitious, resourceful and free people.

Candy, tell us more about yourself?
Those who are already members of Testosterona may remember me, I’ve been working with the Blog since 2016. In the beginning I shared my sets as a model (and I still do), then as a photographer and finally a columnist, writing posts about sensual photography. Although I’m a model, photographer and carry several other labels referring to the professions I practice, I consider myself just an artist.
How important is photography in your life?
For me it’s the meaning of everything, photography has been my guide so far. It was where I discovered myself as an artist, a complete woman, where I found security, a beautiful profession, where I got to know incredible people and places. I learned to get out of my comfort zone on a daily basis. Photography has kept me moving forever.
What are your inspirations and references in photography?
Ellen Von Unwerth and David LaChapelle. I am immensely passionate about his creations, without a doubt they are great references and inspiration for me.
Making a photo set is telling a story. What stories do you like to tell in your work?
I like beautiful, fun, free and confident people. I find these characteristics extremely attractive and I always try to introduce this into my essays.
What was it like doing the photos for this Testosterone Girls shoot with Akane?
Working with Akane is always great! Beautiful and fun. The session is always very light and with very good energy. For me as a photographer it’s wonderful to see that the model is really doing what she likes and having fun.
What are the biggest challenges a photographer faces these days?
I believe that photographers who don’t update themselves end up being left behind. There are a lot of good people in the market making incredible photos, and contrary to what I see most photographers saying, I don’t think the market is saturated, I just think that the level of work is rising and that’s very good! If a photographer doesn’t study his technique, his market and the updates that exist in it, this can be a big challenge to stay in the market.
