Caroline Spiegel, a 22-year-old businesswoman, founded the startup Quinn, a site for erotic audio that encompasses erotic stories and guided masturbation (better known in Brazil as guided handjob).

Caroline is the sister of Evan Spiegel, founder of Snap, developer of the Snapchat app, and hopes Quinn will become the go-to place for what she calls “the internet’s best kept secret.” Quinn packs erotic stories and guided wanking behind a refined, minimalist interface without any photos or videos.
One of the pioneers in this segment was Dipsea, an app platform for short erotic audio stories founded by Gina Gutierrez and Faye Keegan in 2018 that raised US$ 5.5 million with Bedrock and Thrive Capital. Dipsea is among the top 100 entertainment apps with the highest revenue, according to the consultancy App Annie. Other competitors include Bawdy Storytelling, a podcast featuring long-form stories, and Literotica, a site primarily known for written stories but also hosting audio content.
