Mercedes Carrera and her husband Daemon Cins, who were arrested on charges of sex with their own daughter, have made significant progress in their case.
At a preliminary hearing by the Superior Court of California, San Bernardino County, porn actress Mercedes Carrera, and her husband Daemon Cins, received motions that they made to Judge Stephan G. Saleson, requesting the right to post bail until the judgment of the multiple charges crimes each of them faces. Bail for each was set at $2 million.
At press time, Carrera and Cins, who had no bond option prior to the hearing, remain in custody at the West Valley Detention Center in San Bernardino County. They are scheduled to appear again before the same court for a preliminary hearing on July 17th.
Representing Carrera at the hearing, public defender Joshua Castro explained in an interview with AVN: “At the July 17 hearing, evidence will be presented by the prosecution to try to support the charges made against my client, and if the judge decides that there is no evidence supporting these allegations, the case will not go to trial. I look forward to defending Carrera as this case progresses.”
