Dakota Skye, 27, was found dead by her husband last Wednesday inside the motorhome where she lived alone in Los Angeles. She and her husband were estranged from each other before the tragedy. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed. Born Lauren Kaye Scott, Dakota Skye had been suffering for some time from her abusive use of alcohol and drugs, especially Fetanil, a synthetic opioid used as a pain medication, 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin.
Second Linda Arden, Dakota Skye’s aunt, “Lauren was the product of a highly dysfunctional family involving drugs, alcohol, physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse”, and added that her niece “died almost exactly two years after her mother, death caused by addiction and alcoholism.” In 2017, she was arrested for domestic violence after slapping her then-boyfriend, Robert Anderson, in the mouth. More recently, in May, she faced a huge backlash online after posting a topless photo on her Instagram in front of a mural of George Floyd (review the scene where he fucked in porn), in Santa Barbara, with the caption: “ Happy #GeorgeFloyd day in #santabarbara”. even without the intention of offending, she ended up receiving numerous criticisms, deleting the publication afterwards.
Dakota Skye started her adult career as a camgirl, migrating in 2013, around the age of 19, to the Industry, recording about 300 scenes. For her performances in 2014, she was nominated for the 2015 AVN AWARDS for the ‘Best New Starlet’ award. In that edition, big stars like August Ames (also deceased), Jillian Janson, Samantha Rone, Aidra Fox and Carter Cruise (the big winner) competed with her. During her career, she earned 8 awards from other specialized media. She was currently semi-active, recording very few scenes.
