Danish journalist Louise Fischer, 26, was tapped to cover the reopening of the sex club after Covid-19 restrictions were eased in the country. Like all good journalists, Louise delved so deeply into her work that she did her interview by participating in some kind of ménage with the interviewees, asking questions, moaning and panting. The interview aired in March during a Radio4 morning show and has since been shared on Twitter (full interview)🇧🇷 Radio4 announced the story as follows: “Radio4 was present when the swing clubs reopened. Warning: It got hot and humid for both our reporter and guests.”
Speaking to Bild about the reactions she received and how the interview went viral, Louise said: “Most of them were very positive, they thought it was brave and cool. Others think I crossed the line into journalism. I don’t have a boyfriend, it definitely made it a lot easier. My mom just thinks it’s funny and laughs, my dad thought it was really cool.” On the part of the readers they opined on the Twitter of the post: “It was just an excuse for a bang. It was completely unnecessary”, another commented “Things only women can do hehe. If a man had sex on the radio, he would probably have the whole country against him.”
Louise, who recently confirmed that the moan you hear in the first sex scene is hers, explained that although she spent several hours with the participants at the swing club, the report only lasted a few minutes. She joined them as they sat and talked over a glass of wine at the bar before retiring to the large bed. The journalist went on to say that she would have ‘just said no’ if she had been approached by a guy who had no sympathy for her. “I think people in the swing club are much more polite to each other than you guys are used to in normal bars or clubs, for example. In the swing club you don’t have to explain anything or excuse anything, a simple ‘no’ is enough.”
Although Louise admitted that “maybe” she would be up for it again, adding that it was a “great experience”, she revealed that it “wasn’t the best sex” of her life. “Yes, I liked it,” she explained. “Even if it wasn’t the best sex of my life, the men in this club are very polite and attentive. I felt like a goddess. They make you feel very special.”
While Louise’s program director Tina Kragelund praised the journalist for ‘trying’ to ‘do journalism differently’, others criticized her for taking the job too far. Despite this, Louise would consider doing another report with video – including sound and image – if it meant she wasn’t involved, adding that it would ‘exceed’ her ‘personal limits’.
She revealed that she had not planned to have sex during the interview, but when she was invited to a large bed in the middle of a room and they began to touch her body, she realized that this “unleash the guests”, who were initially “reluctant” to participate in the interviews and seemed nervous with their microphones. “For me it was very natural. It is part of my job to give a vision of a world that not everyone has access to.”
