Evanna Patricia Lynch is an Irish actress, model, and narrator, from Termonfeckin, Ireland. She is mostly known for her portrayal of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film series. At 14, Lynch auditioned at a casting call in London for the role of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the fifth film in the series adapted from the books. Most noteworthy, Lynch auditioned against 15,000 other girls, and landed the role after a screen test with actor Daniel Radcliffe. Consequently, she appeared in the last four films and their tie-in video games, as well as in the musical A Very Potter Senior Year. Age 26.
