CORSET
The corset is a garment worn to hold and train the torso into a desired shape, traditionally a smaller waist or larger bottom, for aesthetic or medical purposes, and it’s been tormenting women (thanks to fashion trends) since the XVI century.
At that time it was worn to achieve a conical, rigid and stylized torso for the ladies of the aristocracy and royalty.
