It is not surprising that the winner and three-time Oscar nominee Sorkin decided to understand the phenomenon of this series. And he made his own! If not a show, then a poignant drama dedicated to the life and love of its two main stars – Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaza. The first, changed beyond recognition, was performed by Nicole Kidman. The second is Javier Bardem.
Initially, two-time Oscar winner Cate Blanchett was assigned to this sensational project, but after many years of perturbations in casting, an enterprising Australian woman “stole” this story from her. Now Nicole Kidman is resting on the laurels of one of the most successful of her roles — and dresses accordingly.
