THE WILD WEST
At the beginning of the 19th century, the West side of North America was considered a wild and inhospitable territory with little possibility of being inhabited. The advancement of the “civilized East” over the “Wild West” was the meeting and clash between two exclusive worlds.
Firearms were a common fixture in Wild West life. Many of the arguments and problems with others were solved by shooting.
