She says that this change of city enabled a process of self-knowledge for her, which went from the “enchanted little girl phase to an independent woman”, as she had contact with open-minded people, new ideas and different experiences. Isa Freitas, vWe go to your Instagram and why Woobells? Is there a story behind that name?
So it’s been around since 2012 when I was 17 and I was into Korean music and there was an artist that I really liked with the surname Woo. In Korea, the last name always comes before the first name, and since this artist’s last name was Woo and Bells was already my nickname, so it was like I was his wife, lol! Funny huh? But I left it like that because it’s an old Insta and those who already know me and have this connection with me, that’s fine.
What’s your favorite cosplay?
Isa Freitas: Misty from Pokémon is my favorite so far, easy to assemble and has a great meaning for me, because I did a photo shoot with it in Guapa Magazine, which already debuts as part 2, stay tuned… But I also think about make other characters, who knows from League Of Legends?!
Games?
I recently returned to play League Of Legends.
How many rehearsals have you done?
I’ve been photographing for 9 months and a total of 20 shoots since September.
Isa Freitas, How was your experience posing nude for the magazine?
I really loved this test. I got to know Guapa Magazine when I started shooting, that’s when I started to understand the dynamics of this photography niche and I had an expectation in which I would never imagine myself posing for Guapa, in the sense of ‘Oh, am I good enough? ‘ Of course, it’s the famous imposter syndrome speaking louder, and then when the shoot came up it was a great opportunity for me and I saw it as recognition of my work, because it’s a platform that has already photographed incredible models.
So it was an experience of validation of recognition and an experience of happiness too, because I was super nervous on the day of the photos and then I had a super cool interaction with the photographer Luis and we managed to do a beautiful job. The photos have the footprint of sensuality, nudity, sexy and provocation, but she also brings the beauty in herself and I loved this shoot very much”
What is important to you in a photo shoot that involves nudity?
Trust and delivery! The confidence that the model has with the photographer and vice versa, as well as the model has with herself and the photographer also in relation to their work.
When I talk about delivery, it’s the fact of throwing yourself into that moment and living it body and soul, because that way you build a nice synergy and there’s a nice chat.
This is all very important because the model often doesn’t know the photographer and nudity is closely linked to intimacy, so it’s nice to have that connection with the photographer.
Do you work with adult content creation?
Isa Freitas: Thinking about the format of my photos and the work I propose to do, I think everything fits into this world of adult content.
I used to work selling photos, but I preferred to stop, because when you sell your photos directly to a person, the risk of exposure is very high and then you can’t even take legal action.
Today I prefer to expose this content through a platform that can guarantee my safety and the safety of my image.
