Early life
Jane Levy was born in Los Angeles in the family of the artist Mary Levy and musician Lester Levy. She grew up in Marin County, Northern California, where she graduated from high school. At school, Levy, was captain of the women’s soccer club and also did hip-hop dancing and has performed in local theater musicals “Annie” and “Wizard of Oz”. Then she attended Goucher College and later enrolled at the actors Studio Stella Adler in new York.
Career
After two years of study in New York, Jane levy returned to Los Angeles and soon had a periodic role of Mandy Milkovich in the 1st and 2nd seasons of the Showtime series, “Shameless”.

In 2014, Levy took the lead role Meredith in an action movie Monster Trucks Paramount production with a budget over a hundred million. Simultaneously, she took the lead role in the independent drama the musical Bang Bang Baby of a young girl from a small town who dreams of becoming a singer living in the 1960-ies.
In the beginning of 2016 Jane Levy was invited for the lead role in the pilot of the Comedy series “My time/Your time” for CBS, which became her first television project since the completion of “Suburgatory” in the spring of 2014. However, later it became known that CBS did not order a full season of the series.
25 April 2016, it became known that Jane will play a role in the continuation of the series “Twin Peaks”.
