Madison Kocian is an American gymnast. It is the 2015 world champion on the uneven bars and two time world Championships team member. She was a member of the U.S. national team since 2009.
August 7, Kocian competed in qualifications among women at the summer Olympic Games XXXI Rio 2016. After the show all events in the exercise on the podium was performed only on the uneven bars, scoring a 15.866. The result was the highest at this event, and her first on the uneven bars individual event finals. In the team competition also qualified US in the first team for the final. In the team final August 9, Kocian competed again on the uneven bars, anchoring team USA for the event. She has contributed in a 15.933 to help the team’s second consecutive team gold at the Olympic games.It was the first time an American team won two consecutive team gold medals.
