Growing up in a strict Baptist family, Nikole Mitchell was expected to be quiet, reserved and sweet. But her dreams weren’t so conservative. Working as a sex worker, she now says that she has never felt happier and that today she sees her sexuality as something sacred.

“From a very young age, I fantasized about being a stripper. But I was indoctrinated to believe that my desires and my body were sinful,” said Nikole Mitchell in an interview with the New York Post. So initially, instead of chasing her dreams, the mother of three gambled everything on religion and became a pastor. Even then, however, she was rebellious in the eyes of her family.
“I learned that women can’t lead and that women should be in the kitchen and with the kids,” Mitchell, 36, said. “So even though it went against everything I was told, I decided to become a pastor because of my love of performing.”
A shepherdess, but still a rebel.
In 2011, Nikole Mitchell, along with her now ex-husband, joined Woodland Hills Church – an evangelistic megachurch in St. Paul, Minnesota — which opened her eyes to the possibility of gender equality within the faith.
“I was stunned,” she recalled of her first visit to the holy house. Every Sunday, Mitchell was first in line to ask the pastor a question after the sermon. “One of my pastors said, ‘Nikole, do you realize you’re a theologian? And they said, ‘We’d like you to be one of our pastors,’” recalled Nikole Mitchell. “Being on stage in front of thousands of people, this is what I’ve dreamed of for years.”
Eager to rise through the ranks, Mitchell – who is also raising three children now aged 10, 7 and 4 – landed a job as a weekly pastor in 2016. But Nicole Mitchell’s true identity began to reveal itself in 2016 after attending a play theater aimed at LGBTQIA+ audiences, Mitchell began to question her sexuality. “I felt like I was living a double life,” she commented.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, I don’t think I’m straight’ and it rocked my world,” said Mitchell, who now identifies as bisexual and pansexual. “I knew that if I revealed my queerness, I would lose everything because the church does not welcome queer people.” Suddenly, Nikole Mitchell felt like she was living “a very double life” and struggled to keep her sexuality a secret.

So, after giving her first mass audience weekend sermon on the weekend of July 4, 2017, Nikole Mitchell left the church for good. “I just never showed up again,” she said. A few months later, she left the church and made a video of herself publicly coming out as bisexual in a confessional YouTube video posted on her social media.
Faced with rebuilding her life, she wondered what would come next. Mitchell knew she wanted to delve deeper into her own sexual desires and signed up for a class called “Sexpress You”.
“It was about expressing your sexy self and that was the fundamental element I needed,” said Mitchell. Then she teamed up with a photographer to do her first nude photo shoot. “I cried because I never felt more holy and holy in my life,” Nikole Mitchell recalled of the shoot. “I have never felt sexier and freer than before.”
Thrilled with her new vocation as a stripper and erotic model, Mitchell launched an OnlyFans account where she posts graphic photos and videos in exchange for cash.

“I started out very shy as just topless photos, but now I’m at the point where I take personal requests and make videos tailored to people’s specific desires,” said Nikole Mitchell, who also works as a life coach and offers courses like “ How to Unf – – k Yourself” about how to be yourself. “I’m on the verge of, in March, being paid several thousand dollars to have sex with someone, and I was OK with that, but then COVID hit and that got cancelled.”
Mitchell moved to Los Angeles in August 2019 and divorced her husband in June.
But today, Nikole Mitchell is happier than ever. “Each person has the right to express themselves in the way that works best for them and that’s how that feels good to me,” she said. And while her preaching days may be behind her, undressing, for Mitchell, is just as sacred. “My sexuality is incredibly healing and sacred,” she said. “And when I give this gift to people, it blesses them.”
