Polina Gagarina is a Russian singer, film, television, voice-over and dubbing actress, composer and fashion model. Participant and winner of the channel One project “star Factory-2” (2003). Russia’s representative at the Eurovision song contest 2015, who took second place.

Born on March 27, 1987 in Moscow, she spent her childhood in Greece. On one of the issues of the show “the Voice” admitted that she has Mordovian roots. Mother – a professional dancer – in 1991 signed a contract with a Greek producer to work as an artist of the ballet “Alsos” in Athens. Gagarina lived there for three years, and in September 1993 she entered the first class. After returning to Russia for the summer holidays, at the insistence of her grandmother, I stayed with her in Saratov. She entered music school, performing a Whitney Houston song in the qualifying round.
After the end of the contract with the Greek producer, Gagarina’s mother returned to Moscow, where Polina also moved.
