An Australian porn star, dancer and camgirl, 7 months pregnant, has sparked outrage online after promising to film the birth of her child especially for her fans. Tyi Starr, from Sydney, took to Twitter to announce that video of her delivering the child will be available to paying customers in less than eight weeks. “I have less than 8 weeks until I give birth and I will be uploading my video giving birth to my fans who are interested in seeing it,” she wrote.
Under the caption, Starr posted a provocative image of herself posing with her baby bump.
The 22-year-old’s revealing content sparked an uproar with many labeling her money-making scheme ‘disgusting’ and ‘sick’. Dozens of users shared thoughts of her on social media with many saying her behavior was unacceptable. “I hope the child is taken from her,” said one person. Another Australian woman said: “I’m sorry about her baby!”
Starr told Daily Mail Australia that she is aware that her profession is not something that most people don’t agree with and people’s opinions of her choice of career have never bothered her. But she added that people who question her parenting skills and assume she’s going to be a “shitty mom” are just “awful”. “I would also like to let people know that I am not the only person or porn star who has registered their birth and posted or sold their birth experience,” she said.
“We all watch birthing videos on YouTube for free, but because I already have a name for myself in the porn industry, people are shocked and want to jump on the band wagon and label it child pornography,” she continued. “I shouldn’t have to defend myself because I know what I’m doing and I don’t think it’s wrong in any way.”
