Ester Tigresa, also known as Tigresa Vip, joined the PT – Workers’ Party, and announced her pre-candidacy for state deputy. She will run for a seat in the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso. On social media, PT state deputy Lúdio Cabral confirmed Tigresa’s pre-candidacy and even came out in his defense after criticism from a follower on social media. “She applied to join the PT this year, she is an adult and a citizen with rights like you and me. She has every right to join a political party and run for office. In the election, it is the population who will assess whether or not she is able to be a deputy, and not me or you in advance just because she earns her living through adult videos,” she wrote.
Ester Tigresa is known in the Brazilian porn environment for recording pornographic videos, crude amateurs and sleazy humor, since she was 16 years old. Today, at 24, she saw in politics another way to help the less fortunate and show her social conscience.
