Silvia Saige changed her career as a radiologist and medicine to become a porn actress at the age of 30, MILF, in 2015, but only now in an interview with the newspaper ‘Mirror’ did this story come to light.
Silvia explained that, despite working daily to help people, she was not happy and that motivated her to go in search of change. So, she went to live in Las Vegas, USA, in pursuit of her dream of working presenting stand-up shows focused on humor.
After a few months living in the city she signed on to be the star of an adult film. Silvia explained that she worked two jobs to pay the bills while trying to become popular in stand-up comedy, but after six months she decided to find out more about the adult film industry. One of her friends worked as a porn actor and was making big money from movies. “After many years of work, I felt unhappy and started doing stand-up. But I wasn’t doing any comedy, which was why I moved to LA. If I could make more money, I could focus more on comedy.”
With porn Saige achieved financial independence, but her 3-year career in adult entertainment leaves her relationship with her family shaken. “I never wanted my parents to feel like I was a failure. I have higher education. I had several options, but I chose sex. This upset a lot of people, including my family. I would love for my family members to be proud of me and present me as the sex worker daughter instead of having to go to family gatherings and pretend that I am someone different. I am proud of what I do.” “My father was more understanding than my mother, who is religious. Obviously, he said he wouldn’t want his daughter to be doing this. He understands that I am safe, happy and making good decisions for myself. We don’t go into detail (about employment). There is nothing else about my life that is private. Everything is there for the public to see. It’s quite liberating.”
Silvia explains that working in the adult film industry opened a lot of doors for her, and she now hosts her own podcast about sex. The actress also points out that she wants to help people get rid of the prejudices that surround the pornographic film industry. “I made it my mission to start talking about sex. We put a lot of shame around it. So, I’ve been talking about sex with everyone”, emphasized Silvia.
