Skylar Grey is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, guitarist and pianist. Nominee for a Grammy award in 2011. Early in her career, the girl signed a contract with the record label Machine Shop Recordings and performed a duet with Fort Minor song Where d You Go under her name without a last name Holly Brook. She later took the pseudonym Skylar Grey.
In 2006, she released her debut album Like Blood Like Honey. She also co-wrote three versions of Love the Way You Lie with Alex da Kid, who signed with her on his Wonderland Music label. In 2011, Skylar recorded her album Invisible.
