In times of a pandemic, a small group of people decided to isolate themselves on a speedboat for a daylight suruba on Lake Paranoá, in Brasília. Filmed by someone, the videos went viral on social media.
After the DF police began investigating the case, three men and four women told the police that they were being “disturbed” after the images were released. They claim that it is a “montage”, that parts of the videos are real, but that others are from a second vessel that “probably was not even present on the spot”. The group reported that they were taking a boat ride on July 1st, but that they are not the people who appear in the recording. “They allege that they were not aboard the ‘Love Boat’, as it became known”, says the delegate.
