Netflix has added to its catalog the film ‘365 Days’, the Polish version of ’50 Shades of Grey’, also based on a book of the same name. The story follows a young Polish woman who is kidnapped by a domineering Italian gangster in order to conquer her in 365 days. That is, Stockholm syndrome, domineering rich man, softporn and all the possible ingredients and stereotypes to fully please the female audience. Result? The film was the most watched on Netflix in the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom and is among the top three most watched titles in Mexico and Portugal, in addition to achieving incredible fame in Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
