Later the third mixtape, “Black Water”, was released. She debuted with her single, “2 on”, which came in first place on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart and reached number 24 on the official U.S. hit parade Billboard Hot 100. Her debut Studio album “Aquarius” was noted by music critics as one of the best debuts of the new singers of the year.
She was nominated for “Soul Train Music Awards” for the title of “Best new artist” at the BET Awards. Later the Duo’s song “Snakehips” “All My Friends”, performed by Tinashe won the Ivor Novello Award for “best modern song”. The video for her new single “Superlove”, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, debuted on MTV’s Snapchat and reached one million views in a day and a half.
