Porn actress Mercedes Carrera and her husband Daemons Cins will face a jury trial after Judge Ingrid Adamson Uhler ruled that the county’s San Bernardino Superior Court had sufficient evidence.
Judge Uhler dropped two firearm charges against the couple, but upheld 16 counts, including multiple incidents of oral sex as well as sexual penetration. This is because an audio recording of the alleged victim, a nine-year-old daughter of Mercedes, reporting the facts, was brought as evidence.
In the recording, the child describes the sexual acts and claims that there is a video recorded by Mercedes Carrera herself, but the Department’s detective, Sheriff Donald Patton – who testified that he executed a search warrant on Carrera and Cins’ apartment – confirmed the existence of the video .
Carrera and Cins will appear before the jury on August 19th.
